TherapistMy goal as a therapist is to help people live their best life as they define it. Anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction are issues that more people experience than are often realized. Struggling with these difficult symptoms doesn’t mean you are crazy or broken. You are human and are affected by the powerful life stressors and negative experiences, often through no fault of our own.
I offer a safe space where you don’t have to worry about negative judgments. I will help you find positive ways to cope with your stressors to experience more stability and happiness in your life.
I have almost ten years of experience helping those with addiction, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I believe in a harm reduction approach to substance abuse and addiction where the goal is to reduce harm and meet you where you are on your path to recovery.
I use evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. I will help you make decisions and find direction and solutions that work for you.
A little about me: I have played guitar since the age of 12, which has been my passion and coping skill for a long time. I have two dogs and two cats, and I lived in Las Vegas for 13 years before moving to Indiana with my wife. I have struggled with anxiety and depression since a young age but have found success in the skills and techniques I will work with you on in our sessions. I hope to see you soon.
