TherapistMany people come to counseling when they are feeling lost, stuck in negative patterns, and frustrated about their behaviors. They feel unheard and sometimes struggle to explain exactly what they are going through. As your counselor, my goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you have a voice and can feel inspired to make positive changes that will improve your quality of life. I love helping adolescents and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, stress, and major life adjustments by helping them identify and overcome the obstacles that are inhibiting their happiness.
My other interests include working with individuals who identify as LGBT+ and perinatal population (I.e Postpartum depression and Postpartum anxiety). I utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to assist you in meeting your desired goals.
I understand the choice to come to counseling can be a hard one. To help with that discomfort, I offer phone consultations so you can ask questions and I can explain the process to ensure I’m the right fit for you. Please contact our office to schedule either a consultation or your first appointment. I look forward to meeting you.

People are always surprised when they find out that I, enjoy the metalcore, pop-punk, and hard rock music genres.
What interesting skills do you want to learn?
Lately, I’ve wanted to learn how to make pottery. I think the possibilities are endless with that. Although, in the past, there was a woodworking phase and embroidery phase as well. I enjoy trying new things and exploring what I can do.
What motivates you to work hard?
I think seeing my client’s willingness to step out of their comfort zones is a huge motivator for me. I know how difficult it can be to motivate yourself.
